About
Ontario based multidisciplinary artist, Nardyne Sami specializes in multiple creative mediums. She finds her inspiration in her life experiences, nature, and her current studies in psychology. Her works are a reflection of her personal values, experiences, thoughts and also serve as her own commentary on struggle, pain, social and psychological phenome. Although she has struggled with chronic pain since she was two years old, and her joints including her dominant wrist are severely damaged, she continues to pursue advancement in her skills in art and understanding of mental health. She believes that there is truth in the saying 'mind over matter'. She hopes to inspire, encourage, and provoke change through imagery, her story, and her writing.

Mission
to create works that inspire and motivate others to enjoy the therapeutic qualities of nature and art.

Why nature?
Nature is an important subject theme in Nardyne's artwork. Nature can have a profoundly positive impact on mental health; it facilitates creativity, and elicits a sense of calmness, awe, and joy. The juxtaposition of the raw beauty and unpredictability of the natural world, with the complexity and emotional depth of the human experience invites reflection on our connection to, and separation from, the environment

Vision
To create artistic pieces that resonate with others, to elicit emotion, to inspire, and to advocate for mental health and for the earth.
